Inferences
Exercise 3

Read each passage and then choose the two logical inferences from the choices at the end. Choose if a statement is logical, not logical, or if there is not enough information to make a logical reference.

The young man watched silently as they led his best friend away. It had been a long ordeal, and he was glad the waiting was over. They had been through so much together to reach this point, and now they could both move ahead with their lives. Where did the adventure first begin? Was it when they stopped at the convenience store to buy something to drink and a few bags of pretzels--and then buy one more item? Was it when they were racing down the highway with the top down, listening to their favorite country-western station? Was it when they finally realized what they held in their hands? Or was it when they pulled into the state headquarters to make their claim? Whenever it was, their lives would never be the same again.
